Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“T&C”) constitute a legally binding agreement between Untold Hungary (Provider) and the Client (Traveler/Customer).
By completing a booking and payment through the Untold Hungary website, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions in full. These T&C apply to all tours, recommendations, and services provided by Untold Hungary, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1. Scope of Services
Untold Hungary provides:
Private one-day and multi-day tours in Hungary (without accommodation).
- Personalized itinerary planning and travel recommendations
Informational travel tips and destination guidance
Affiliate recommendations (e.g., hotels, flights, partner services).
Untold Hungary does not operate as a package tour operator or licensed travel agency under Hungarian law. Services are provided as privately planned tours or independent recommendations.
2. Booking Process
Bookings are made directly through the Untold Hungary website using secure online payment.
Payments are processed via Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment service provider. Untold Hungary does not store or process payment card details.
Once payment is successfully completed:
the booking is considered confirmed
the Provider will contact the Client via WhatsApp or email to finalize details
Invoices are issued electronically via Számlázz.hu and sent to the email address provided by the Client.
3. Accommodation and Multi-Day Tours
- Accommodation is not included in tour prices.
Accommodation is booked by the Client through our recommendation or personal preferencies with the use of our affiliate system.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
One-day private tours
Free cancellation or rescheduling is possible up to 72 hours before the tour date
Cancellations within 72 hours or no-shows are non-refundable
Multi-day private tours
Free cancellation or rescheduling is possible up to 14 days before the tour start date
Cancellations within 14 days or no-shows are non-refundable
These policies are necessary as vehicles, drivers, and resources are reserved exclusively for each booking.
In exceptional circumstances, the Provider may consider alternative solutions at its sole discretion.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients must ensure they are in good health and able to participate in the tour.
Clients must comply with Hungarian laws, including traffic and safety regulations.
Seatbelt use is mandatory. If a Client refuses or neglects to use a seatbelt despite warning, any resulting fines are the Client’s responsibility.
Clients are responsible for their personal belongings during the tour.
Clients acknowledge that itineraries and travel tips provided by Provider are for informational purposes only and used at their own risk.
Any fines, damages, or legal consequences caused by the Client’s behavior remain the Client’s responsibility.
6. Liability & FORCE MAJEURE
Provider is not liable for damages, losses, or additional costs resulting from:
Third-party services (e.g., hotels, airlines, restaurants, attractions).
Traffic fines, accidents, or legal breaches caused by the Client.
Extraordinary and unavoidable circumstances (force majeure), including but not limited to:
Natural disasters (earthquake, flood, fire, extreme weather).
War, armed conflict, political unrest.
Terrorist attacks, riots, or civil disorder.
Strikes, lockouts, or industrial actions.
Pandemics, epidemics, or government-imposed travel restrictions.
Unexpected transport disruptions (flight cancellations, airport closures, border closures).
- Border or airport closures
In such cases, Provider will make all reasonable efforts to assist the Client, but no refunds or further compensation are owed. Any additional costs (e.g., accommodation, meals, transport) will be borne by the Client.
Parents or legal guardians are fully responsible for minors participating in the tour at all times.
The Provider does not offer childcare or supervision services. Parents or legal guardians must ensure that children follow safety instructions and behave in a manner that does not endanger themselves or others during the tour.
Untold Hungary holds liability insurance for tour operations, but Clients are strongly advised to obtain their own travel, health, and accident insurance.
7. Affiliate Links & Third-Party Services
Untold Hungary may provide affiliate links to third-party services (e.g., Booking.com, airlines, activity providers).
Untold Hungary is not responsible for the performance, quality, or terms of these services. Clients enter into contracts directly with the third-party provider.
8. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
Complaints may be submitted via email to info@untoldhungary.com.
Provider will respond within 14 calendar days.
If no agreement is reached, disputes shall be governed by Hungarian law.
Jurisdiction: the competent court in Budapest, Hungary.
9. Data Protection
Provider collects and processes personal data (e.g., name, email, phone, billing details) for booking and invoicing purposes.
Data processing follows GDPR regulations.

- The website uses marketing and analytics tools, including Meta (Facebook) Pixel, based on user consent.
10. Final Provisions
Provider reserves the right to adjust prices, itineraries, and these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Any modifications will not affect existing confirmed bookings unless required by law.
By completing a booking, the Client confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions in full
11. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA USE
During the tour, photographs or short video recordings may be taken for promotional or documentation purposes.
The Provider will always request verbal consent before using any images or videos that clearly identify Clients for marketing or public communication (website, social media, advertising). Clients may decline the use of such content at any time without providing a reason.
