Summer Itinerary
- Your private driver picks you up at your hotel at 8:00am and you start the day with a drive to Székesfehérvár.
- Visit the unique Bory Castle, a romantic masterpiece built by sculptor Jenő Bory.
- Continue to the Balatonvilágos Panorama Lookout, where sweeping lake views open up from the southern tip of the northern shore.
Arrive in Tihany for lunch in a local restaurant.
After lunch, explore the historic Tihany Abbey, one of Hungary’s most iconic landmarks.
During May and June, visit the blooming Lavender Fields around Tihany.
If we have still time optional stop at the Őrtorony Lookout, a scenic viewpoint overlooking the lake and peninsula. 90 minutes moderate hike.
Optional activities: swim at a lakeside free beach or add some fun at the Balatonfűzfő Alpine Coaster.
- In the late afternoon, enjoy a leisurely walk along Balatonfured Tagore Promenade, the elegant lakeside walkway lined with cafés and gardens.
- Return to your hotel in Budapest in the evening.
Spring & Autumn Itinerary
Your private driver picks you up at your hotel at 8:00am and you begin with a drive to Székesfehérvár.
Visit the romantic Bory Castle. Admission is included.
Continue with a stop at Nádasdy Castle, one of Hungary’s lesser-known gems.
Take in the stunning views from the Balatonvilágos Panorama Lookout.
Lunch in Tihany, followed by a guided visit to the historic Tihany Abbey.
If we have time, optional pause at the Őrtorony Lookout, where the peninsula and lake views are especially striking in the crisp autumn or spring air. Good phisical condition required. Hike takes around 90 minutes in and out.
- Take a roundtrip around the peninsula by car.
End the day with a relaxed stroll along Balatonfured Tagore Promenade, enjoying the lakeside atmosphere.
Return to your hotel in Budapest in the evening.
