From the hills, we head down to Esztergom, one of the most important cities in Hungarian history. This is where the Hungarian state and Christianity really took root, connected to King Stephen I. The Basilica dominates the whole skyline, while Slovakia lies just across the river. You can also explore the chapel and the dome with its magnificent panorama.

After that, we continue along the Danube to Visegrád. The drive itself is beautiful, following the river as it curves through the landscape. At the top, the citadel gives you one of the most iconic views in Hungary, the Danube bending below, surrounded by green hills.

The last stop is Szentendre, and it feels completely different from everything before. It’s colorful, artistic and slightly Mediterranean in atmosphere, with small streets, galleries, cafés and restaurants. At the end of the day, we take you back to your accommodation in Budapest.
