Discover the Journey
Day 1 – Budapest to Győr
Your professional driver will pick you up at your hotel in Budapest around 8:00am.
Begin your day in Tatabánya with a visit to the iconic Turul Statue and the mysterious Szelim Cave (shooting scene of the Witcher series).
Continue to Fényes Nature Trail, a fairytale-like hidden gem of wooden paths floating above crystal-clear springs.
Midday stop at Tata Castle and the picturesque Old Lake, followed by lunch in a local lakeside restaurant.
Afternoon drive to Pannonhalma and visit the Pannonhalma Archabbey, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Hungary’s most important spiritual and cultural landmarks.
Evening arrival in Győr. Stroll through its charming baroque downtown filled with cafés and historic squares.
Overnight in Győr.
Day 2 – Győr – Sopron – Budapest
At 8am check-out and prepare for a morning boat tour in Szigetköz, exploring the unique waterways and lush landscapes of the Danube’s inland delta. (Not operating in rainy or stormy weather.)
Stop at the Fertőszentmiklós Lookout Tower for panoramic views over the Fertő region.
Visit the grand Esterházy Palace in Fertőd, known as the “Hungarian Versailles.”
Discover the Fertőrákos Cave Theatre, an impressive natural stage carved into limestone rock.
Late afternoon arrival in Sopron, the historic “City of Loyalty.”
Climb the iconic Fire Tower, Sopron’s most famous landmark with sweeping views over the old town.
Enjoy dinner in Sopron’s atmospheric medieval centre. After dinner drive back to Budapest.
Late night arrive in Budapest.
